On behalf of the dedicated staff of the University of the Ozarks’ Department of Public Safety, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. It is my privilege to lead a staff that is committed to protecting and serving the Ozarks campus and community, including its students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors.
The Public Safety Department maintains 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year. We staff three shifts daily as well as a 24/7 emergency contact number that can be accessed by calling 979-2020. The department’s main office is located in the bottom floor of the Seay Student Center, across the hall from the Rawhouser Fitness Center. The campus is continuously patrolled throughout the day and night and uses an advanced video system to monitor the area and respond quickly to the needs of our residents. We have developed a strong relationship with the community and local police department to make Clarksville and our beautiful campus a great place for growth and development.
Our public safety officers have advanced degrees ranging from emergency management to criminal justice, and yield many years of experience in both federal and local law enforcement. Together, we take pride in serving our faculty, staff, students, and visitors. If you have questions, comments or concerns about the Department of Public Safety, please feel free to contact me at 479-979-1425 or email@example.com.
